1993 : diplôme d’ingénieur de l’École nationale supérieure de géologie (ENSG) de Nancy. Spécialisation géotechnique et aménagement des eaux.

1993 : diplôme d’études approfondies (DEA, Master’s degree) de l’Institut national polytechnique de Lorraine (INPL), géosciences de l’environnement.
